What do you think of this year's survivor?  I think the exile island idea is pretty cool, even if they keep sending that same poor guy over and over.  I am like you I have seen pretty much every episode.  One thing I miss lately is not having anyone to watch it with, better as a shared experience.

Well I will take a 50/50 shot and guess you work for a school library.  Get the day off Monday?  Doing anything?  I am not sure what am doing other than some cleaning up.

Have a good night.

Brian

Hey Brian!

I like the exile island thing. I think that if I were on Survivor, I would actually *like* getting sent there to have a break from all the other people. :) I am a little upset because last week I missed it! I was distracted by the Olympics and I had plans that night. I just  forgot to set the VCR! I have a friend at work who tapes it sometimes though, I'll have to get in touch with her.

So have you always worked at schools? What made you interested in working at schools? I actually do not work at a school, but everyone always assumes that. I work at a public library as a young adult specialist. But I do have the day off today, which is very nice. Especially since I am nursing a cold and have a bunch of stuff to get done around the house. You know, thrilling things like laundry, dishes and vacuuming. :)

How long have you been in the greater Baltimore/DC area? I can't believe that you commuted from NVA to Baltimore! I have been lucky that I have never had much of a commute. I currently live 3.5 miles from work, and that is the longest commute I have ever had.

How long did you live in Alaska? Where else did you live growing up?

Well it was great hearing from you, and I look forward to hearing from you again!

Kelly

After chatting for awhile on email and by phone we met for the first time at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, only to find that it was about to close. So we headed over for a blustery walk around Fort McHenry instead, followed by hot chocolate. Brian likes to say that Kelly went off to another date that day, because she had plans to head to the opera and had to end their date to get there in time.

After dating for several months, we spent a weekend in Philly to see the Body Worlds exhibit at the Franklin Institute. We ate dinner at Jack’s Firehouse and stayed at the Sofitel, which we repeated the night before and day of our engagement.

A year after meeting, Kelly moved in to Brian’s house with her cats Alley and Kitty. Brian and his cat Zeus put up with us well, and soon Narnia and Domino joined the family.
