I got my W-2 today (it was actually at work on Friday, I just wasn't) and my bank had a printable version of my 1098 for housing stuff. Those are pretty much the only two things I need to do my fairly simplistic taxes. I signed on to TurboTax which I have used for something like 8 or 9 of the last 11 years. This year they had all the forms I needed available and ready to go. The only problem I had was that apparently you aren't allowed to prepare or submit (not sure which) MD state taxes before 1/11/2008 so I may have to wait a few days to actually process it. Either way it is cool to have it done so early, I think a new record for me. The last piece I thought was funny was the following graphic showing my audit risk, which appears to basically be zero.

Taxes for us done today. We, however, have a risk factor at the end of the turbotax process...2 kids! Watch out.
