Apparently on some of the latest Sony CD's they are installing a RootKit to ensure their DRM is enforced. This is just as bad as some of the viruses that are out there now. If Sony infects my machine and allows other things to infect it can I sue them?

One more tidbit I found in the comments on Mark's blog. This is the author of the rootkit asking for help. Scary stuff.
