Waterproofing Part 2

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

On Tuesday night I got a followup call from Mid-Atlantic. They wanted to send out a manager or something to try to work on pricing with me. It took me about 2-3 minutes of saying no to finally get them to give up. They just didn't seem to understand that the numbers I was talking and the numbers they were talking were not anywhere close. Oh well.

This is typical of many waterproofing companies.. and in-home sales companies as a whole. High pressure to get you to sign that night. In their minds, if they leave the house, they know it's a very low chance of them getting the sale in the future.

Very illogical thinking, isn't it? Education works much better. Educated customers have already bought. If you provide the education, they buy from you.
