Over my long weekend I played with my linux test machine running Gentoo. I upgraded all the latest patches and such. After I was done they released 2005.0, however I had already integrated all the patches it contains. I even managed to get sound working in KDE on the box. Now the question is will it work instead of XP for its main purpose which is playing mame, being an arcade and all.
