Movies and more movies

On Saturday night 2/12 I watched Ray. It was a really amazing movie. I learned a lot about Ray Charles and his life. I also learned a lot about the time he lived in. The only downside of the DVD was the rough cut way the extended edition was created. It bounced to a different title and transfer quality and also the DVD seemed to have some problems.

On Sunday I watched two movies. First, was Hitch in the theater. It had some very funny moments and the story was pretty good too. It was also very appropriate for the occasion. The second movie was Mulan II on DVD. It was pretty much as expected, the story was maybe a little too predictable and the animation was not as good as original. The surprising part was the fact that all the original voice talent came back for this direct to DVD feature. Added some class to it I think.

On Tuesday I watched The Grudge. Roger and Travis had rented and watched it on Sunday. They said I had to watch it becuase it was so scary. I have to agree it was indeed very scary. I screamed quite a few times.

Yesterday a bunch of us went to watch Constantine. It was a pretty good story. I think the best part was the hell based special effects. Also some of the casting was great. As long as you aren't too religious I would recommend it.
