DVD's and HBO

I watched a couple of movies recently and thought I would comment on them. First is Last Samurai on HBO. I TiVo'ed the HD version of this. It is a good period piece and has some awesome battle scenes. Imagine Braveheart in 1800's Japan. Tom Cruise is very good and not his usual role.

The other ones are DVD's I recently got. I will go best to worst. Lets start with Dodgeball. This was pretty much total cheese. There were some funny parts but were mostly slapstick or other visual. The dialogue based jokes mostly fell flat. Second, is Collateral. This movie was really good until about the last 10 minutes, then it just imploded. It was a neat action/drama/mystery thing. This also has Tom Cruise in it, very different role as well. The best movie of this lot in my opinion is I, Robot. This was straight up popcorn movie action, but it did it really well. The robots looked amazing and Wil Smith was very good. If you are in the mood for some good chase scenes and Sci-Fi action I highly recommend it.

You actually went worst to best and it is Will Smith. Where are the Festivus pictures?

FESTIVUS PICTURES. Why do you think we read this thing? We want to see pictures of drunk people having too much fun.
