Somehow at about 5:30 PM yesterday the ethernet cable between my server and dsl just broke? Physically it appeared fine and it would link, but no traffic would pass. After lots of other troubleshooting I finally swapped cables and that was it. How this happened I have no idea, mysteries of the universe.
Ethernet cable destruction?
